The Clouds Change Necklace
I love this necklace by Aoi Kotsuhiroi to death. Its so dark and conceptual but earthy at the same time, and very primal and precious looking, like an ancient artifact.
I’m a little conflicted however…apparently the materials used are “silk thread, human hair, Japanese antique indigo fabric, phantom crystals, pit-fired porcelain skulls”. Totally down with the japanese part, the antique, the phantom and the pit-fired but I’m a little troubled with the human hair part.
It’s not the first time I’ve seen human hair in fashion, I do remember Chris March from Project Runway incorporated a lot of hair into his designs. I just don’t know if I would wear it…
So what’s the verdict, gross or totally brilliant?
