Stocking Stuffers
Happy Christmas! In true fashion blogger style, my Christmas-themed post is a greedy wishlist of shoes I’d like to stuff my stockings into. Falalallala la la la flatforms!

Collections
I used to have a lot of collections as kid, ranging from normal things like sea shells and beach glass to weirder ones like pom poms, can tabs, and little plastic frogs. Now I collect creeper and flatform shoes, and the bigger and funkier, the better. All of the following shoes would be happily welcomed into my humble collection;
Clockwise from top left: Underground, Jeffrey Campbell, Prada, Underground, customized Underground, Moonspoon Saloon, Jeffrey Campbell, Ashish x Underground.

Winklepickers
I bought these Underground winklepicker creepers recently (I think they are called bowie boots) and I’m madly in love with them. I keep seeing them in editorials too;

Underground has done a bunch of special winklepicker styles for various runway shows, and I REALLY hope they go into production because I want them. The patriotic ones below are Asger Juel Larsen, and the other three are Izzue.

It’s Just a Fucking Clown Chic
I love everything about these Ground Zero multicolour brogues and I need them in my life…I know the clown look isn’t everybody’s cup of tea but it is definitely mine. These are from Ground Zero‘s SS11 collection “It’s Just a Fucking Collection” and the only way I can imagine them being more perfect is if they had colossal creeper soles (drool!). Available on Shop Fatal.

Cheetah Cheetah Bang Bang
My shoe-drobe consists pretty much entirely of brothel creepers and leopard print flats. These have elements of both. Needless to say, I kinda need them.
Available online at Modcloth.
P.S. I’m back home in London and plan on posting a lot more. Anything you’d like to see more of on Drooling Isn’t Pretty?

Lazy Oaf x Underground
Um, how have I not heard about this until now? Lazy Oaf and Underground have collaborated to make these adorable creeper shoes, which I absolutely must own. They are £88, limited edition, and WILL BE on my feet by the end of the week.
Crossing my fingers and toes that they haven’t sold out.

Amazeboots
Well its been a pretty drab affair here at Drooling Isn’t Pretty these past few weeks, I just noticed my past eight posts are all black, leather, black, hardware, black black black. Not that that’s a bad thing, or an inaccurate portrayal of my wardrobe or anything, just noticing.
Moving on, THESE BOOTS ARE AMAZEBALLS. Amazeboots. I usually save up pictures of all the Alexander McQueen stuff I’m drooling over so I can sneak them in between other posts, lest this become Drooling Over McQueen blog, but these were too good to stick in a folder.
If these were mine I would walk around crashing into everything because I’d be too busy either a) staring at my beautiful, buttery black leather magical super booties with skull zippers or b) sticking my nose in the air as I strut around superiorly in said booties.

Great Scott
As all you devoted readers (haha all three of you :P ) know that I am deeply obsessed with Jeremy Scott. Along with JC de Castelbajac and Alexander McQueen, I would say he is my favorite big name designer. Every collection Jeremy Scott does for Adidas gets more and more amazing, and I am dying over the jelly wings and teddy bear high tops (incidentaly the teddy bear shoes remind me of JC de Castelbajac’s legendary teddy bear coat). The brown ones are brilliant and I think they might be my bunny heels‘ soulmates (solemates?).

DSquared
I don’t need to tell you guys how epic the spinal DSquared shoes are, we have all seen them, but Sea Of Shoes recently posted some “in person” photos and holy crap they are epic.

Good Things
Good things come when you least expect them. I spent days hunting for shoes after my creepers broke, but to no avail…and then I randomly saw these on my way to Lush. They are the cutest shoes in the whole wide world and they are mine now :)
They are leopard! And fuzzy! And comfy! I stood in front of the display for about twenty minutes trying to decide which print to go with, they had zebra, lace print and little stars, but these ones just seeemed right.

French Fail
I went to the Paris Doc Martens store aux Halles and was told they don’t carry the Diva collection in France :( Upsetting, I’ve been meaning to try on the Darcies for ages. Curses! I don’t want to buy them online because sometimes “charmingly ugly” in a photo translates to “fug” in real life.

Birds of Paradise
These shoes are a work of art…they resemble a rainbow scaled fishy or even an exotic bird. I think they belong on someone who will dance in them to give that pretty tail some life :)

Multicoloured Mirrors on Hobnail Boots
Sorry for the lack of updates, I have had limited access to the ol’ Interweb as of recently. I’ve moved out of my place in London and am traveling since I don’t move into the apartment in Paris until June. In the meantime, feast your eyes upon these incredible Xanadu wedges by Jeffrey Campbell…I must locate and purchase these immediately. Not only are they deliciously curvy and winged, you can also check your lipstick on your shoe thanks to the mirror panels (though this might not look all that elegant if attempted in public).
Available online at NastyGal.

Samurai Jane
This is such a superhero shoe….I hope if they ever make a live action Samurai Jack sequel, Samurai Jane would rock these epic wedges. It certainly would take superhero skills to walk in them….

That’s Not a Bird, It’s a Butterfly
I didn’t really grow up in a typical American family that watched baseball games and owned all the Disney movies on VHS, but we did have Bambi and I watched it on loop when I was little. Thumper was kind of a hero of mine, and what do you know, so is Jean-Charles de Castelbajac and his Bambi-themed Fall 2010 collection.

I don’t know about you guys but I definitely need some Bambi shoes in my life. More photos from the runway after the jump;

All of the Above
Why yes, I would like my feet to be swathed in lux hand-crafted Guatemalan carpet at all times, thank you. Say hello to these cozy, colourful and slightly hairy beauties from Osborn Design Studios, which are a) totally affordable b) charmingly ugly, in the best of ways and c) soon to be mine.
Available online at Need Supply.
*Update: d) not in my size. Laaame!

Wings

The Jeremy Scott x Adidas spot with Agyness Deyn and Snoop Dogg is finally out!!! Adidas has been really ON IT with the viral campaigns and collaborations lately. I just love those wing sneakers…I badly want the mutlicoloured ones, and I never wear sneakers. The video is really fun, urban and sporty in the classic Adidas aesthetic, with lots of celebrity cameos and fish-eye effects. Very hip, but I’m sold…”Celebrate Originality” is a slogan I can rep.
