I am officially moved in to my place in Paris and back to my regular blogging schedule! When I moved out of London, we took the train to Calais, a French town known for its long history of producing luxury lace. There we visited the Lace and Fashion museum which is in an authentic lace factory.
The museum showed examples of hand made lace, some of which were over a hundred years old, and the incredible craftsmanship involved in lace making. (All photos by Drooling Isn’t Photogenic.)
